वित्त विभागाने 2,088 सहाय्यक प्राध्यापक पदांच्या भरतीवरील निर्बंध उठवले आहेत आणि भरती प्रक्रिया सुरू होण्यास मान्यता दिली आहे. शिवाय, १०० टक्के रिक्त होणारी प्राचार्य संवर्गातील पदे भरण्यासाठी सुद्धा मान्यता देण्यात आली आहे. याव्यतिरिक्त, उच्च आणि तंत्रशिक्षण मंत्रालयाने विनंती केली आहे की वित्त विभागाने ग्रंथपाल (121) आणि शारीरिक शिक्षण संचालक (102) ची उर्वरित 223 पदे भरण्यावरील स्थगिती शिथिल करावी, जी उच्चस्तरीय सचिव समितीने मंजूर केलेल्या पदांपैकी होती.
या प्रस्तावाला वित्त विभागाने मान्यता दिली असून त्यानुसार पदांना मंजुरी देण्यात आल्याचे उच्च व तंत्रशिक्षण मंत्री चंद्रकांत पाटील यांनी विधानसभेत सांगितले.
